The Chemistry Magic Show hosted by Danika LaDuc, her son Sean, and myself, was tons of fun and had an amazing turn out. It was a full house full of children and their families. They were entertained by all the cool experiments and it was great allowing all the kids to spin the color wheel in order to win a prize. - Cynia Sapp, SAGES Secretary
The Bay Area Science Festival was a phenomenal success! We estimate that nearly 400 people visited the SAGES table, and we all had a wonderful opportunity to interact with inspiring young students from around the Bay Area. There were over 50 workshops occurring throughout the day, ranging across all STEM disciplines with inspiring STEM professionals and educators. I can't wait for the next Science Fest at the Bay! - Jasmine Hain, K-12 Outreach Area Leader
It was wonderful to connect with the wider community this weekend at the Bay Area Science Festival hosted on campus. Our SAGES table was flooded with visitors, young and old, excited to learn and have fun at our science trivia game. I loved seeing the kids eagerly get back in line multiple time, hoping for another shot at our prizes. - Hadia Amani, SAGES Professional Development Area Leader
